Job Purpose

To grow and maintain clients in the area of offshore banking as this role requires a clear acquisition focus

Job Responsibilities
  • Individual will be expected to generate leads for the business through proactive solicitation of both Group and external channels
  • Onboarding of new clients from these sources
  • Provide specialist support for Private Bankers to assist in landing new business
  • Managing a book of their own international clients
  • Coaching local Private Bankers on international offering and Exchange Control requirements
  • Focus on providing excellent clients service
  • Hunt for lending and investment opportunities
  • Draft credit proposals for offshore lending
  • Host client marketing events and functions
  • Demonstrate an understanding of risk parameters by managing client relationships according to credit principles
  • Improve results by tracking and analysing financial reports against agreed measures.
  • Understand clients business and needs through proactive client relationship management according to portfolio mandate.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders through communication and networking as determined by client needs.
  • Complete tasks through planning and reviewing against set targets.
  • Manage resources (time, processes and support teams) to optimize value against client expectations.

Essential Qualifications – NQF Level
  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Preferred Qualification

Degree in Business or Finance (e.g. BSc Economics, B Comm, Certified Associate of the Institute of Bankers)

Minimum Experience Level
