Purpose of the job:

Primarily, reengineering of financial statement and internal audits to optimally leverage our client’s information systems and data as well as technologies available to the firm to achieve efficiency, risk mitigation, optimal assurance and differentiation.

The secondary purpose is advising clients in managing risks associated with information management, information technology governance, business systems risk management, project risk management, cyber security and information security.

Clients include a range of high-profile, blue-chip clients including listed companies, multi-nationals and internationally owned subsidiaries across various industries.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Analysing audit strategy
  • Defining ideal target audit approaches that leverage technology and data analysis
  • Managing the process of change to achieve the target audit processes
  • Engaging with audit partners to work together with them in teams
  • Team leadership (should have supervised teams previously)
  • Providing insight to our clients about IT and cyber security in their businesses in presentations and reports
  • Project / engagement management
  • Building capabilities and methodologies in the areas of system based auditing and data analytics
  • Building capabilities and methodologies in the area of information and cyber security
  • Review and quality assurance of deliverables
  • Develop internal and external client relationships
  • Client liaison and problem solving
  • Ability to identify potential business development / sales opportunities

  • Passion for business, Information Technology (IT) and data
  • Keen interest and knowledge of cyber security

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Completed BComm / BSc is essential, completed Honours is advantageous
  • CISA preferred, CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP advantageous
  • Minimum 4-5 years working experience
